Diane grew up in northwest Chicago (Portage Park) and studied at Gem City College in Quincy, Illinois. It was there that she met her husband, Ken, who is a master goldsmith and Stone setter. 

She gradudated in 1984 with a degree in Technology and a major in complete horology.(The study of time)
Her certificates and diplomas of study include, Engraving, Jewelry Design-Diamond Setting, Watchmaking & Clock Repair.
 After graduating with honors, Diane began apprenticing in downtown Chicago under a master engraver in 1984, and has developed a deep knowledge and understanding of running a successful enterprise.

Dianes father, Thomas Schnidt, owned and operated a business as a sheet metal fabricator, for over 40 years.  
Diane has inherited her father's unique insight and knowledge in business, and has put her honesty, integrity and unique skills behind her name in building her reputation.
 Like her father before her, Diane has reaped the benefits of having her mom, Corrine, stand behind her with complete encouragement & support in all her endeavors.

Starting out as a hand engraver on Gold and Sterling Silver, Diane uses tools she has made herself from hardened steel.
Hand engraved designs are drawn out and then cut with steel tools using pure physical force 

Currently, moving ahead to keep up with customer demands, she has added Pantograph, high-speed and Computerized engraving.
Enabling the company to not only offer  HAND ENGRAVING but also the lower priced quality machine engraving for inexpensive items.


She has worked on projects including 14k Gold championship rings for the Bears and the Packers to delicate hand engraved eggshells & even ceramic
